Captain Jeff Folk

 

Captain Jeff Folk is a retired physician with USCG Master certification. He has lived in Charleston his entire life with hundreds (maybe over a thousand?) of days cruising the waterways, fishing, and as a charter captain.  Since retiring from his medical practice Captain Jeff truly enjoys sharing his love of being on the water and educating others about our local marine life. Captain Jeff is an accomplished educator in many topics to all ages.

What?

Exclusive private charters for up to 6 passengers – sunset, nature, history, and cruising

 

When?

You decide when you want to go. Hourly (2 hour minimum) half day, full day, and sunset

What's Included

A comfortable safe boat, fuel, towels for use, ice cold water, a cooler of ice, and a USCG licensed captain.

Please let us know about any special requests when you call to set up your charter.   If you have an exceptional charter and would like to express your appreciation, all gratuity will be thankfully received.  

What to Bring Along

Most importantly bring a mindset of fun and adventure.  Be prepared to relax and enjoy.  It is recommended that you pack sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray please), snacks, and beverages other than water. If you have plans to eat lunch at a local waterfront restaurant then bring your credit card or cash.  And it is always a good idea to bring a valid identification.

What You Will Find Onboard

Comfortable seating, all required safety and navigation equipment, towels, cooler, and a bluetooth sound system to play all your favorite music.  There is a portable head for necessary use.   

Departure And Meeting Location

There are many options for pickup and drop off.  We will plan these when you call to reserve.

What About Bad Weather Or Cancellations

A majority of the time the weather is great in Charleston.  However, on occasion bad weather rolls through the lowcountry particularly on summer afternoons. We will make all reasonable efforts to get your charter out and back safely and responsibly.  It may be best to alter our departure time if the weather dictates.  If we cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances you will receive a refund of any deposit or payment made.  If you choose to cancel within 24 hours of a charter your deposit may be subject to forfeiture.
